Your Role
If you're passionate about high-precision manufacturing and eager to play a key role in the industrialisation of cutting-edge products, this role is for you! As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the manufacturing strategy for internal products. You will ensure a smooth production process by structuring and documenting workflows, conducting Process FMEAs, and establishing Control Plans for high-precision components and modules. Additionally, you will support production in the realisation and qualification of prototypes and pilot runs, ensuring a seamless transition to volume manufacturing. In this role, you take technical ownership and oversee the release of new product documentation, ensuring manufacturability compliance.
Requirements
- Provide Design for Excellence (DfX) insights and collaborate with development teams on manufacturability.
- Ensure the release and proper documentation of technical aspects related to new product introduction.
- Organise and lead review meetings with customers and suppliers to address technical challenges and facilitate product release.
- Offer technical support to production teams during prototype and pilot builds.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing technical expertise and solutions.
- Develop and implement production tooling designs in collaboration with production teams.
