Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and help shape the next generation of advanced electronic solutions! As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, qualifying, managing, and maintaining various electronic concepts and products - both for existing systems and new developments. Working closely with the electronics architect, you will contribute to the future of our products. Your focus will be on cables, racks, cabinets, PCBAs, and translating designs into schematics. You will design, document, and maintain analog and/or digital board designs, electrical modules, and infrastructure.
You will be working on state-of-the-art systems where achieving top performance in speed, accuracy, power, and efficiency is essential. Mastery of analog electronics is crucial, and we seek a designer with expertise in analog and mixed-signal electronics who is excited by the challenge of exploring technological limits.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing electronic hardware modules that are integral to our systems.
- Developing and maintaining analog and digital circuit designs.
- Contributing to high-performance electronics solutions.
- Collaborating closely with a team of technical specialists in physics, mechatronics, mechanics, software, and electronics.
- Participating in multidisciplinary high-tech projects ranging from electron microscopes to advanced pick-and-place machines and medical applications.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in mixed-signal and preferably analog circuit design, sensor interfacing, and signal conditioning.
- Experience with precision high-voltage electronics or power electronics (HV generators, power converters, highly temperature-stable circuits, thermal modeling, and analysis) is a plus.
- Affinity with physics, mechanics, software, and signal processing.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- The ability to coach and mentor others.
- A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
What we offer you
- You wil be part of an exciting engineering community at Stryda.
- We back our talent with care, clarity, and commitment, which is why you will receive a permanent contract from the start.
- Talent management is deeply embedded in our organisation. You will experience a extended development program to get you to the next level of your career.
- We believe that every individual possesses distinct qualities: "Everyone is one of a kind." This is not just an abstract idea but a practical approach to maximising individual potential.
- We adopt a work hard/play hard culture: we love to organize events where you will meet fellow engineers to help you settle in the Netherlands and create a social network.
- We have an extended loyality program for our employees. We love to tell you more about it!
