Your Role
Stryda requires the expertise of a talented Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in the complete design and implementation of high-voltage substations at various project sites.
You will be responsible for engineering complex high-voltage projects and may oversee a team of engineers while independently managing the engineering components of our high-voltage initiatives. You will handle various secondary and primary engineering activities (work packages) related to high-voltage installations ranging from 110 kV to 380 kV, including relevant standards and regulations. You will collaborate with project management, clients, agencies, and suppliers, and prepare system documentation, functional and technical specifications, reports, schedules, and operational overviews. Additionally, you will monitor budgets, analyse post-calculations, ensure proactive progress tracking, resolve bottlenecks, and perform quality controls while managing project documentation.
Requirements
- A degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in providing technical support for projects.
- Proven and recent experience working with grid operators and/or in industrial projects.
- Key competencies include analytical thinking, a systematic approach, strong awareness of safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A good command of English, written and spoken, is required.
