Your Role
Are you an innovative thinker with a passion for manufacturing? We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Production Engineering team! You will collaborate with professionals across different departments to develop new manufacturing processes for product introductions and optimise existing processes for mass production.
In this position you’ll work on a project that fits your interests and strengths, with a team that values both your technical potential and personal development.
As a Production Engineer, you contribute to safeguarding, developing, and continuously improving the production process. The Production Engineering department acts as a staff function within Operations and supports the optimization and control of the entire manufacturing process.
In addition, Production Engineering is a key partner within multidisciplinary development teams, ensuring the manufacturability of new products. Alongside participation in new product development projects, our strong growth ambitions also bring exciting rationalization and optimization projects to the table.
In short, this is a highly versatile role in which you can apply both your theoretical and practical expertise, working closely with colleagues on the shop floor as well as with various engineering departments.

- Develop efficient production sequences and routings to streamline manufacturing.
- Create clear and comprehensive technical work instructions.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for in-production issues escalated by first-line production engineers.
- Drive process improvements and cycle time reductions to enhance efficiency.
- Analyse failure reports from suppliers, validate root causes, and contribute to corrective actions.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve module failure root causes.
- Take ownership of development and implementation.
- Provide support for Engineering Change (EC) processes and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics.
- 1-4 years of experience in a technical production environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking responsibility for tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills - open, clear, and professional.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage shifting priorities.
- Proactive in identifying bottlenecks and driving continuous improvements.
- You have solid knowledge of various production techniques, such as welding and/or robotic welding.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing and engineering techniques within machine building is considered a plus.
- You have knowledge of and experience in the development of production systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, managers, and customers.
- Ability to follow strict procedures while ensuring timely execution.
