Your Role
We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer eager to work on innovative vehicle technologies, including zero-emission and autonomous systems.
In this role, you’ll be part of a talented engineering team designing the next generation of special vehicles, from chassis and cabin systems to steering, suspension, and EV integration.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you take the lead in the development of advanced vehicles and integrated systems. You’ll manage a team of around ten CAD Engineers and act as the technical bridge between design, project engineering, production, and suppliers.
You’ll focus on designing, improving, and validating mechanical systems such as:
-chassis and cabin structures
-suspension and steering systems
-driveline, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical subsystems
You’ll work on projects shaping the future of mobility — with a strong emphasis on electrification, automation, and smart system integration.
Your responsibilities:
-Lead and coach a team of CAD Engineers, ensuring efficient task distribution and team development.
-Translate customer needs into clear technical designs and system requirements.
-Design and model components and subsystems using PTC Creo Parametric.
-Perform strength and durability analyses using Creo Simulate or similar tools.
-Check manufacturability and align closely with production and process engineering.
-Support prototype builds, testing, and validation following the V-model approach.
-Collaborate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality designs.
-Contribute to innovation projects related to Zero-Emission and autonomous vehicles.
-Mentor new colleagues and actively share your expertise within the team.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
-At least 5 years of experience designing complex mechanical systems, preferably in vehicle or heavy-machine engineering.
-Proficient with 3D CAD software (preferably PTC Creo) and experienced in strength and fatigue analyses.
-Knowledge of production methods such as welding, cutting, bending, and machining.
-Strong communication, analytical, and coaching skills.
-Experience with system integration of drivetrains (ICE or EV), hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is a plus.
-Fluent in English.
-Leadership – you guide and inspire your team to perform at their best.
-Analytical mindset – you turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
-Collaborative approach – you connect disciplines and ensure smooth teamwork.
-Quality-driven – you aim for technical excellence and long-term reliability.
-Innovative spirit – you stay ahead of technology trends and apply them creatively.
You’ll help shape the vehicles of tomorrow — robust, intelligent, and emission-free — in an environment where technology, collaboration, and personal growth come together. You’ll be part of a talented and supportive engineering team that values open communication, shared learning, and innovation. Together, you’ll bring bold ideas to life and push the boundaries of mechanical design.
