Your Role
As an electrical engineer, you will be in charge of the electromechanical work within our projects.
You will be involved in the following activities, among others:
- Cable design and routing (including schematics)
- Design of AC and DC distribution systems and modules
- Design of racks, cabinets and control panels
The projects mentioned go from products in the semiconductor industry to medical devices. We use tools such as EPLAN and SolidWorks for design and visualization.
As one of the most important disciplines, you will be involved early on during the specification and concept phase of the project. This is where your conceptual and analytical skills come to the fore. You communicate with the customer, the system architect and the other engineers to arrive at the best solution.
In the detail phase and during assembly and testing, you dive into the details. You work closely with the rest of the team to realize a system that can be built and verified. The interfaces between mechanics, software and electronics play an important role in this.
You always work in multidisciplinary teams, with external development partners and in consultation with the customer. Communication and cooperation are very important to achieve a good joint result.
Requirements
- Completed HBO or WO education in electrical or electronics engineering.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as an electrical engineer.
- You have the communication skills to work independently and to work together in a multidisciplinary team.
- You have experience working with EPLAN.
- Knowledge of PCBA design is an advantage.
