Your Role
In this role as an Automation Engineer, you will help build the factories of the future. You'll dive straight into the world of industrial automation, helping to configure, program and implement a powerful smart factory software platform at leading customers in the feed and food industry. Working with an experienced team and guided by a Lead Automation Engineer, you'll tackle real customer challenges and turn them into smart solutions that automate and optimise production processes. What You’ll Do
- Configure, program and implement a smart factory software platform at customers in the feed and food industry
- Translate technical challenges into smart solutions in PLC and platform software
- Automate and optimise production processes to make factories more efficient
- Work on real customer projects alongside an experienced team
- Learn from and be guided by a Lead Automation Engineer
- Make a direct impact on how factories run and perform
Requirements
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, industrial automation or a related field
- Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal
- Knowledge of MES environments and ISA-88/95 is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and a love of taking on technical challenges
- A curious, independent and creative mindset, with a solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, showing initiative along the way
- Fluency in English
