Your Role
The Automation Engineer drives the implementation of advanced automation solutions in logistics and production environments to increase efficiency, reduce labor dependency, and support strategic initiatives. The role focuses on integrating technologies such as AGVs and automated systems to enable scalable operations in new and existing facilities.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for logistics and manufacturing processes
- Lead projects that reduce manual labor through robotics, AGVs, and smart systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation projects with strategic goals and cost-saving targets
- Support automation deployment in new locations
- Monitor performance, optimize systems, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
- Experience:
- 3–5 years in automation engineering within logistics or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record in implementing AGVs, robotics, or automated material handling systems
- Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of PLC programming, industrial networks, and automation software
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MES integration
- Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance in automated environments
