Your Role
As a draughtsperson in the Interior Engineering department, you will be instrumental in creating the technical framework for the interiors of luxury yachts, ensuring that every detail adheres to the highest standards of design and engineering.
Your responsibilities:
- Handle technical basic reservations for yacht interiors, forming the foundation for design and engineering.
- Create detailed exterior drawings, including furniture, teak decks, and exterior ceilings.
- Collaborate with project teams to process data into comprehensive drawings.
- Integrate electrical and insulation plans while adhering to strict inspection requirements.
- Utilize 2D AutoCAD and 3D software (Catia) to produce clear working drawings that facilitate efficient production.
Requirements
Your profile
- Ambitious engineer/draughtsperson with a background in interior construction and a passion for luxury yachts.
- Good knowledge of materials and eagerness to learn about yacht engineering.
- Systematic and flexible in your work approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to adhering to schedules and delivering high-quality results.
Education and experience
- Higher professional or secondary vocational education in interior construction/furniture making, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino, with a willingness to learn TopSolid'Wood and Catia.
