Your Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing electrical systems for complex machinery. Your contributions will be visible on the production floor, allowing you to receive direct feedback on your ideas and make a significant impact on product quality.
Your Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive electrical systems for complex machinery, focusing on component selection, wiring configurations, and production-ready documentation.
- Regularly alternate between engineering tasks and production activities to evaluate practical applications and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of components and wiring systems.
- Create detailed wiring diagrams and documentation, including specifications for lengths, branches, protection, and labels.
- Select appropriate components for various applications, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
- Develop subassemblies as needed for control systems.
- Conduct testing and inspections of prototypes, implementing adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain schematics and connection plans using design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or Zuken.
- Compile bills of materials and manufacturing processes while coordinating with production teams.
Requirements
Your Profile
- An analytical and practical electrical engineer who takes initiative and responsibility throughout the design and production process.
- Capable of seamlessly transitioning between design and hands-on support in a production environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and external partners.
Education and Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in designing electrical systems, ideally in the context of machinery or vehicles.
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience with wiring harnesses and production drawings, and proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or Zuken.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and practical wiring knowledge.
- Excellent command of English.
