As an Electrical Engineer specialising in High Voltage, you’ll work on a project that fits your interests and strengths, with a team that values both your technical potential and personal development. Your Role
As an Electrical Engineer who specialises in High Voltage, your main focus will be on high-voltage components and the associated structures required for their installation and assembly. You will be responsible for the entire process, from initial design to execution and project completion. Your key tasks include:
- Developing project and design specifications based on technical concepts.
- Conducting pre- and post-calculations.
- Designing primary components for various projects.
- Monitoring project schedules.
- Translating functional designs into practical, executable project plans.
- Handling technical documentation and execution documents according to the Systems Engineering methodology.
From start to finish, you will be responsible for a wide range of engineering tasks (work packages). You will:
- Collaborate closely with the project team.
- Serve as a technical advisor to the project manager during all project phases, from initial design to detailed engineering.
- Guide both internal and external engineers throughout the process.
- Design and verify integrated solutions that comply with customer specifications, technical standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, provide feedback, conduct quality checks, and oversee project documentation.
- Ensure that the final design meets the highest standards in terms of safety, technical feasibility, and practicality.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field, with a strong affinity for electrical systems.
- Interest in energy technology, preferably with knowledge of power grids and experience in a similar work environment.
- Familiarity with high-voltage components such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, or cable connections is a significant advantage.
- Passion for working with electrical networks (high voltage) and energy systems.
- Strong communication skills and experience in working within project-based environments.
