Your Role

Connector and growth accelerator

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, specification, calculation, drafting, and selection of components for complete electrical control systems. Working closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines, you will ensure that customer requirements are translated into reliable, high-quality engineering solutions tailored to industrial applications.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical hardware solutions for industrial control systems.
  • Review project specifications and translate customer requirements into complete and accurate engineering documentation.
  • Prepare detailed drawing packages and final designs in consultation with customers.
  • Select appropriate electrical components while maintaining awareness of project budgets.
  • Perform cable calculations and design control panels using 3D modelling tools.
  • Transfer completed designs to the work preparation team and remain involved throughout the project lifecycle, including revisions following customer approval.
  • Provide technical advice and assess the feasibility of customer requests and design changes.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers and support them with engineering-related questions.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from engineering, project management, and production to ensure successful project execution.
  • Deliver high-quality, customized solutions that align with customer expectations and industry standards.

What You Bring

  • A degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical hardware engineering, preferably within industrial automation or control systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce detailed engineering drawings.
  • Experience with component selection, cable calculations, and control panel design.
  • Familiarity with CAD and 3D modelling software used for electrical engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
