Your Role
Innovative engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design, development, and assembly of complex high-tech systems for international OEMs. Operates in industries such as semiconductors, medical technology, and precision instrumentation, supporting customers throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept development and engineering to prototyping, industrialization, and series production.
The products are characterized by a high level of technical complexity, low-volume manufacturing, and continuous product development. Within this dynamic environment, quality, reliability, and manufacturability are of paramount importance. To support its continued growth we are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who will make a significant contribution to challenging development projects through both technical expertise and leadership.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative mechanical solutions for complex high-tech products. You will translate customer requirements and technical specifications into feasible concepts and play a key role in technical decision-making throughout the entire development process.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams of mechanical, mechatronics, and systems engineers, you will often take on the role of Lead Engineer. In this capacity, you will coordinate technical activities, distribute work across the team, mentor colleagues, and ensure the overall quality and consistency of the system design.
Throughout the development process, you will remain actively involved in prototype manufacturing and validation, analyze test results, implement design improvements, and ensure a smooth transition from development to production.
- Develop and evaluate technical concepts for complex modules and systems.
- Lead, mentor, and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
- Create and optimize designs using CAD and simulation tools, including FEM.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to develop effective technical solutions.
- Provide technical support during commercial activities, including customer meetings and proposal development.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in the design and development of precision mechanical or high-tech systems, preferably at least 10 years.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM).
- A creative and analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience coaching engineers and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
