Software Project
Engineer
Stryda is looking for a Software Project Engineer to join their team — someone who is passionate, driven, and ready to make an impact.
Stryda moves bold talent forward –
and that includes the team behind it all.
We’re building something different:
a human-first company that connects ambitious engineers to purpose driven careers that matter.
Stryda hires the brightest international engineers to shape the future of engineering. Through our network of forward-thinking companies across industries, we connect driven professionals with opportunities that truly matter.
We focus on the person behind the expertise, shaping career paths that reflect each individual’s strengths and future ambitions. Every journey is personal: built on trust, guided by insight, and designed for long-term growth.
Your Role
You are responsible for all software and control-related matters during the design phase, engineering, assembly, testing, and commissioning of this project. This includes writing software for machine control, operator panels, robot control, servo and safety systems. After that, you walk to the production hall where a fellow engineer is testing a machine from your project. You help him move forward by troubleshooting an issue and at the same time check whether he is still on schedule.
In the afternoon, you sit down with your mechanical and electrical colleagues to work out a new concept. You quickly fill out your travel request, because in two weeks you’ll be flying to the United States to deliver a handling system. As a Software Project Engineer, you are often the final link in the process: you make sure the machine works perfectly before you go home.
Requirements
- At least a higher professional education (Bachelor’s degree) in Industrial Automation or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following software programs/technology stacks: Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Rockwell FactoryTalk Optix, or KUKA WorkVisual.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- International exposure would be an added advantage.
- A problem solver, energetic, and with a proactive attitude.
- Good command of the English language.
- A structured, accurate, and proactive approach with strong communication skills.
