Your Role
In this role as a Software Test Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the reliability and performance of automotive software. From the earliest project phases, you are actively involved in the development cycle and collaborate closely with colleagues both inside and outside the testing team. You frequently coordinate with engineers from the System & Software Engineering department to align on requirements, clarify functionalities, and review findings.
The software controlling must be both intelligent and dependable. Your testing activities therefore carry significant technical depth and have a direct impact on the safety and effectiveness of advanced automotive systems in real-world use.
You begin by thoroughly reviewing all functional and technical specifications. Based on this information, you develop test scenarios that cover how the software should behave across a wide range of situations. Depending on the complexity of the work, you may operate independently or as part of a team.
During the execution of your tests, you closely monitor software behavior, document any anomalies, and report your observations clearly and systematically. You actively contribute ideas regarding potential root causes of issues and help refine testing strategies to improve coverage and effectiveness. After software updates, you also perform retests to verify that previously identified problems have been resolved.
In essence, you oversee the entire software validation process—from preparation to final documentation. Your analytical mindset and thorough approach enable us to deliver automotive solutions to clients with full confidence in their performance.

- You go beyond standard checks and explore how well functions hold up under challenging conditions.
- You have completed a technical bachelor’s degree, preferably with experience in the automotive field.
